Traffic and Tea

Are things that I dislike, and very much love about Ireland so far. Crossing the street is hard(er than usual), but I'm on my 6th cuppa tea as the hotel has a nice little water boiler, as opposed to mini coffee maker, and lots of tea bags. Also, several pouches of instant coffee and unrefrigerated milks with expiration dates ranging from plus or minus a year from today.

I've been trying not to nap all afternoon, we have been free to do whatever after landing around 8:45 am and getting to the hotel around 10:30. I walked around for a few hours trying to find some open shops with a few girls, but no luck. Then, I discovered the outlet adapters I bought earlier aren't friendly with the Irish sockets, so went on another journey to a little mall to find one that was. Which I did, so I can type this. Here's a picture of the Bewleys Hotel, where we'll be until Wednesday. Thanks, g'day!

  1. Wow---this isn't a hotel, it's a castle. I guess you'll get used to castles as a way of life :-)
